(ILCE = Interchangeable Lens Camera with E-mount)
Normally when I go down to London I have a specific purpose and locations to photograph like Christmas decorations. This time I just went for a bimble (a gentle meandering walk) around the city and photographed whatever caught my eye. Started off at Embankment Tube Station and crossed the Thames by the Golden Jubilee foot bridge to the south bank and then past the London Eye observation wheel along to Westminster Bridge, where the early morning winter sunlight was golden and made the Palace of Westminster glow but it didn't last very long and soon clouded over. It was back across the river towards Embankment Tube Station and up towards Covent Garden for the 'LEGOSantaExpress,' which was open for children to go on the footplate, although I think Santa's little helpers might give them nightmares. It was then down to Trafalgar Square too see the Christmas tree and what street entertainers were about and by the time I got to China Town, which is just behind Leicester Square, the early afternoon rain that was predicted had started falling and the number of tourists had increased, so I called it a day.
