(ILCE = Interchangeable Lens Camera with E-mount)
The Blue Hour is the period of time that occurs twice each day either just before sunset or just after sunrise. In the evening the sky turns from light blue to dark blue (The Blue Hour) to black. Although it’s called The Blue Hour, the effect only usually lasts for about 25 to 30 minutes because the sun is moving below from the horizon and only the blue wavelengths from the sun’s light dominate.
