Carnaby Street has collaborated with the ocean conservation charity Project Zero to put on an underwater display representing ocean’s of the world in need of preserving and conserving. Crabs, starfish and other sea animals are made from recycled and reusable materials including over 1500 plastic bottles and all painted with eco-friendly vegan paint. 500m of bubble wrap used for coral. Jellyfish and vampire squid, made from 100% cotton fabrics, are strung across the side streets and have lights inside them that constantly change colour.

Bond Street have their Peacock feathers again which is a reference to the 18th Century ‘Bond Street Loungers’, well dressed dandies that used to strut around Bond Street like peacocks showing off their expensive outfits. Some of the shops in Old Bond Street have decorated the outside of their buildings and the Halcyon gallery have a moving light show with butterflies dancing over the facade and the giant wings of the central statue flapping up and down.

Fortnum & Mason - F&M have gone with an advent calendar theme for their shop front windows this year.

Oxford Street & Regent Street - Oxford Street have held off for the last few years in putting up new christmas lights as they were waiting for the CrossRail station on Oxford Street to open. I think they gave up waiting. Oxford Street CrossRail station still closed and the snow balls of the last few years have been replaced by LED panels. Regent Street have their flying angels.
