(ILCE = Interchangeable Lens Camera with E-mount)

Having used the Minolta AF 35-105mm F3.5-4.5 lens (first released in 1985 for 35mm film cameras) on my 24MP/Sony A7 full frame sensor camera, I thought I’d give it a try and see what it was like on my 24MP/Sony a6500 crop sensor camera. Taking into account the 1.5x crop of the APS-C sensor, the 35mm equivalent focal length increases to approximately 52-157mm so not a wide angle view for anything at 52mm. I was on the lookout for colours and shapes and anything else that piqued my interest. My starting point was London Liverpool Street Station and from there I headed into the City, then along the South Bank to Westminster and crossed the Thames. After lunch made my way back into the city via Fleet Street and finally Liverpool Street and the train home.

Equipment Used: Sony a6500 + Sony LA-EA4/A to E-mount adapter & Minolta AF 35-105mm F3.5-4.5 Lens
